A pandemic is the widespread, uncontrolled spread of an infection often caused by a virus and for which there is no specific treatment.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has brought a lot of changes in the world. In 3 paragraphs, discuss how the pandemic affected the political, cultural and economic aspects of globalization in your country.
The Covid-19 Pandemic is one that has swept through my country like wildfire for many years now. It has destroyed much of what we once had to offer as a nation.
Oil refineries have been decimated and food production houses have died off completely with only a few able to remain open due to extreme measures or sheer luck. It has also affected the quality of life of many people on a national scale.
Prior to this pandemic, my country was known for having the most technologically advanced medical facilities in the world. Now they have been reduced to near ruins due to a lack of food and medicine which is the only way to combat it.
I am hearing that in my nation’s capital alone there are over 3,000 people who have died from this horrible disease. I question exactly how much had been lost in our society and how much we will come out of this tragedy completely destroyed at the end of it all.
“The virus itself is incredibly contagious and is spread through sweat, saliva or nasal secretions. When a person is infected with the virus, they will begin to feel as though they may have the flu. But when they start to get better, they will know that they are not sick and still have the same symptoms of being ill.”
The world has become a much different place and I feel it is only going to get worse from here on out. Scientists from all over the globe are working tirelessly just trying to find some sort of cure for this horrible disease so we can once more enjoy a true sense of peace in this world. This disease is not something that should be taken lightly and could take all of us down if we are not careful.
In my opinion, this disease can be linked to the globalization of our world. To begin, this is a global pandemic which means it is an epidemic that has spread across the globe. This can be linked to globalization because of how fast it has spread and how many regions have been affected by it.
This pandemic was able to spread across our planet due to better transportation and migrations as people flocked to where they felt they would be more prosperous. This brought people into close proximity with each other who did not have anything in common and thus led to a more rapid spread of infectious diseases.
The effects globalization has had on this country have been almost too much for its infrastructure.
